Recently I noticed my New Order emails aren’t being sent to the admin email on a consistent basis. I have SMTP set up (Post SMTP) and there are no failures or errors reported but there is also no record of the emails I’m not receiving ever attempting to send from Woo. A couple times I didn’t receive the notifications on my phone either although that has been more consistent than the emails.

I installed another email log plugin to see if I could pick up any more insight as to why they aren’t going through and same thing, the new order email sends to customer just fine but not to admin. What could be causing this? I’m using Google Workspace for my email, it’s a custom domain email and all the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records are set up.

    Hi @scandidesignco,

    Thank you for reaching out.

I understand you’re experiencing issues with your New Order emails not being sent consistently to the admin email.

Also, I can notice you’ve taken most of the troubleshooting steps to try and solve the issue. In that case, do you remember making any changes before the issue started, such as updating or installing plugin(s)?

In the meantime, please ensure that the ‘New Order’ email is enabled in WooCommerce > Settings > Emails tab. Also, check if the recipient email address for the ‘New Order’ notification is set to your admin email.

On the other hand, also check that your Google Workspace isn’t filtering these emails as spam or blocking them due to any policies.

The only new plugin I added recently was the pro version of Bulky which is a bulk WooCommerce product updater. It doesn’t allow me to customize anything on the email side though, just product info and I’ve had the free version installed for awhile without issues. Is there anything specifically I could look for in terms of what might be causing the emails not to send? Thank you!

    Hi @scandidesignco,

Thank you for the additional details. This is interesting, as I understand the issue is intermmitent, meaning you sometimes get the emails (and notifications), but sometimes don’t, correct? If it were a permanent issue it’d be somewhat easier to troubleshoot!

The first step <span style=”box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;”>in troubleshooting this is going through this guide:?https://woocommerce.com/document/email-faq/#getting-orders-but-no-emails-sent. Can you go through it and confirm that it’s all okay</span>? If everything is working fine with the status of the new orders and the email template is active, please let us know.

Additionally, can you tell us which email logger plugin you are using? Have you tried the WP Mail Logging plugin? If the email was not sent or logged, this could indicate a conflict is preventing your site from creating emails. To find out what may be causing this, you can:

    Please, keep us posted!

    Thanks!
