Installed themes dont show up in menu (localhost)

  • I’m designing themes on localhost. Was interested in one theme’s admin menu, so I downloaded and installed it. I just unzipped archive into /themes, as I dont have FTP on my local LAMP. Well, I’ve installed few themes previously on this sever, just that way, and I recall, they also showed up after several restarts.
    To make things clear, I’ve just installed a random theme – and, of course, no signs of it in Themes menu. So, what on Earth is going on?
    Could any of WP developers explain this?

    P.S. Yes, I’m aware of this theme. It’s a bit different, IMO.
