    Hi there,

Jetpack had informed me that it couldn’t connect to my site, guillermo.com.au, for 7 days. When I clicked on this warning, I was sent to a page about reconnecting jetpack: https://jetpack.com/support/reconnecting-reinstalling-jetpack/#reconnect-jetpack

I followed the very first instruction:

-On your WordPress.com dashboard, Jetpack can be disconnected on the Settings → Generalpage, under Manage your connection.

When I did this, I couldn’t access the wp-login or wp-admin page anymore. It states that the page is not found.

My website was created with a wordpress theme. It is updated by accessing wp-login. However, it is hosted outside wordpress.

I look forward to some guidance on how to proceed to restore access to the pages wp-login or wp-admin.

    Thank you, and regards,

    Guillermo

    Hello @gpvjetpack,

Thanks for reporting this, and sorry for the trouble!

I checked your site and the Jetpack connection, and I have good news: even though there were errors preventing Jetpack from communicating with your site, everything does seem to be working properly now. I hope you’re not experiencing this issue anymore. Please monitor the situation in the next couple of days and let me know whether you experience any problems.

On the other hand, I can see that the wp-admin page and the wp-login.php page where it redirects still don’t work. I suspect it could be related to a plugin conflict or to some settings you can check on your server’s end.

To check for plugin conflicts, temporarily deactivate all your plugins and see if the problem is fixed. If it works, then reactivate each plugin individually to find out which is causing problems.

If you didn’t get any outcomes, then contact your hosting provider to report this issue – they should be able to figure it out for you.

    Hope that’s all clear!

    Hi Stef,

Thank you very much for having a look at my site. Yes, I managed to reconnect Jetpack, but, as you noted, wp-admin and wp-login are not working. In fact, when I access the dashboard, nothing works except for ‘My Jetpack’. This means that I cannot go to ‘Plugins’ and deactivate the installed ones.

As you suggest, I will contact my hosting provider to see if they can help…

Thank you, once again, and regards,

    Guillermo

    Hi @gpvjetpack,

My Jetpack is working probably because you can access it from the WordPress.com dashboard too, while the majority of the other settings can be reached via the wp-admin only.

We’re confident your host ill fix that for you; if there’s anything Jetpack-related about it that we can help, don’t hesitate to let us know ??
