    Hi there,
Trying to setup Weaviate with multi2vec-CLIP with Easy Digital Downloads.
I select the Downloads in 2.2. and tick Search in 2.1. (Media Library is unchecked as I’m not interested in the admin search just the frontend). How do I confirm if the thumbnail image used as the EED feature image has been embedded?
I can’t see any blob fields in https://weaviate:8080/v1/objects but they exist in the schema.

    Version: WPSOLR FREE 23.9.1

This is what I have for Downloads:

    • Index all status. To replace search in admin too. Only published is shown in front search.
    • 2 Taxonomies – 2 selected
    • download_category
    • download_tag
    • 119 Fields – none selected

On screen 2.2, for your “Downloads” post type you should see 2 checkboxes related to images indexing: “Index the featured image” and “Index the images embedded in the description”.

But you need to select your index in the dropdown list of screen 2.2, as those 2 checkboxes only appear on Weaviate CLIP or multimodal indexes. Choosing “All indexes” will not work.

So I have a vespa_index and weaviate_index. The drop down on 2.2 only gives me the option of “All indexes”. Do I have to remove the vespa_index?

2.2 is telling me “Activate the “Views” extension to manage multi-index settings”

You are correct: I forgot that index specific settings, like those 2 options for Weaviate CLIP indexes, are available only with the “Multiple view” add-on, not available with the free plugin.

So even if we only have one index, there’s no possible way to get CLIP to work with WPSolr free?

With WPSolr Free, Weaviate CLIP model can search images from the media library, but not images embedded in description or featured image.
