• Hi, I want to use the media library importer to import hot linked images in my posts for a site I’m migrating to wordpress. I don’t want to use a cdn.

Can’t get it to work, I’ve enabled
    Import external media library attachments
and enabled cdn in the plugin but the button to start the import doesn’t work and has an attribute ( disabled=”disabled” )

I’ve tried to configure the ftp settings but that didn’t work.

I’m not quite sure what to put in the
    Replace site’s hostname with:
field, as I just want to import them.

Oh, and I’m doing all this on a localhost MAMP setup.
Is this possible or have I missunderstood the function?

    Thanks

No, seems you understood. Are there errors in your error log? Are all of the external images “available”?

Thanks for taking the time to answer Frederick.

    There’s no log file created.
    “Total posts” says 0.
    The images are available.
    url’s look like this:
    /getBlob.php?type=reportage&name=FImage1&id=252

It’s a multisite installation and I have the plugin activated and trying this on the main blog.

Ok, perhaps a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin is ideal.
