Uploading Images to a local server

  • Hi all,

    I am self-hosting my sites on a Synology NAS server, which I have acces to on my Windows network.

    I’m a photographer, lots of images, lots of uploads, and client images can be chunky.

    So, it made sense to me to be able to copy/paste the images into WordPress as it would be a LOT faster than using the usual upload routine.

    I tried copying the images into my /content folder, but WordPress doesn’t pick them up.

    How can I persuade WP to see the images, please?
