Need to remove “- or -” separator within express checkout…

I need to remove the “or” separator as seen in the top photo. If I remove the “WooPay” express button / option, only then does it remove the separator (bottom photo).
This CSS code should work, but it does not.
.wcpay-express-checkout-button-separator {
display: none;
}The separator looks like s***. I can’t live with it. Been working on this for two hours. Hope someone can help.
Thanks in advance!

Hello elevated420,
Thank you for your reply.
I visited your site and found this layout on the checkout page.
I only see one row of Express checkout and it only has Google Pay and PayPal.
Could you share a full-page screenshot of what you are seeing?Additionally, could inspect that “OR” using your browser and check the HTML?
I want to see if that is loaded via the <iframe> tag.
Sharing a screenshot would be helpful.Looking forward to your response. ??
Best regards.

Let me know if you can see the info in the red box please.

Hey, @elevated420!
Let me know if you can see the info in the red box please. https://imgur.com/a/FYCUZ6u
Yes, I can see it ??
But as my colleague mentioned, we are not able to see the “or” on the Express Checkout to properly check it and assist you further. Have you hidden it/disabled WooPay or are you still seeing it on your end?
I also checked on my website, but there, the “or” option does not show even with WooPayments active.
Have you checked with a default theme such as Storefront to see if this separator is coming from the theme?
Looking forward to your reply.
Have a wonderful day!
“Have you checked with a default theme such as Storefront to see if this separator is coming from the theme?”
No, not yet. I will contact Porto’s (theme) website if you guys can’t help me. I can try switching to a default theme, but I do not know if that will mess up my main theme’s settings.
“Additionally, could inspect that “OR” using your browser and check the HTML?
I want to see if that is loaded via the <iframe> tag.”As you can see from my last post, there is no “iframe” tag in the code.
Next, I noticed the photo you posted shows a different “Google Pay” logo than what I see on my end. Weird.
“Let me know if you can see the info in the red box please. https://imgur.com/a/FYCUZ6u“
“Yes, I can see it ??”
Ok, good. You would think that if the WooPay button is missing in the “Express Checkout” section then the order form in the red box would be missing too. I am glad that the order form is still showing. I can live without the WooPay Express button, but obviously not the order form!
Ok, so take a look at this photo:

As you can see, I have WooPay option selected under “express checkout,” but not Google Pay. I have Google Pay selected in another WooCommerce Payments section, and the Google Pay Express button is obviously working. That being said, perhaps there is a different WooPay Express option I can select somewhere else in the WooCommerce Payments section. Do you know of any other options I can select? Can you check your website to see if you have the WooPay Express option selected somewhere else?
As for this picture:

So, from the first photo, I click on the “customize” button in the second red circle, and that takes me to this second photo. On this page, I have WooPayments selected for the “checkout” page only. Let me know if you have these same options selected.
I don’t know what else to think. I don’t know why the Google Pay button is different on your end and I don’t know why the WooPay express button does not show up on your end. Perhaps it is my Porto theme. Perhaps I need to select an option / checkbox somewhere else to force the WooPay express button.
I really appreciate all your help! Thanks carolm29 and Zubair for your time!

Oh yeah, one other thing… I use Windows 11 with Firefox, and I also tested in Chrome. On my Android phone, I tested in Chrome and it works fine.
Another thing I just thought of…

I use the CheckoutWC. I first tested the “WooCommerce PayPal Payments” plugin, but the PayPal express button was not showing up. I then installed the “Payment Plugins for PayPal WooCommerce” plugin and the PayPal express button now works. Perhaps it is CheckoutWC that is giving me problems.
I’m lost.
Here is what the checkout page looks like with CheckoutWC disabled:

Hello elevated420,
Thank you for your reply.
Your initial query was about the “- OR -” in the Express checkout box.
Then I also noticed you have two Express checkout boxes.
There should be only one Express checkout box.I am glad that the order form is still showing. I can live without the WooPay Express button, but obviously not the order form!
Please note that the order form is separate from the Express Checkout.
Even when the Express check is completely or partially disabled, customers can pay via standard Payment options.To help you further, I’d like to review your site’s System Status Report.
I can review your site’s configuration and ensure there are no conflicting payment plugins or configurations.You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select Get system report and then Copy for support.Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com
After that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.Looking forward to your response. ??
Best regards.

It is actually two images in one file. Sorry for the confusion. The top image shows the “-or-“, and the bottom image is what you see when you disable the “woopay” express button. Technically, there should be two “-or-” separators within the top image.
I can’t find the upload button. I don’t know if I have to sign up or not…

Get back to me when you can please. No rush.
Thanks again for all your help.
Hello elevated420,
Thank you for your reply.
Appreciate your clarification, I thought that was one screenshot.
That is why I got confused.I checked your site again I do not see the WooPay button.
Could you please enable it again so I can check the source code?
Looking forward to your response. ??Best regards.
It is enabled. See above posts. I also included the source code in one post. I have no idea why it is not showing up on your end. I also explain what browsers and devices I have tested. Maybe try using a VPN.
Hey, @elevated420!
I checked your website again today and I was able to see the OR separator. ??
Please try the CSS code below to hide it:
#wcpay-express-checkout-button-separator{
display: none important!;
}Please let us know how it goes.
Have a wonderful day!
As stated in my first post, I already tried that code. That is why I am going crazy. It should not be this complicated.
Let me know if you have any other suggestions.
