Same issue here. Hoping a solution materializes as I have issues with slugs on multiple sites.

    Hi,

I apologize for the confusion this situation has caused. We have experienced some problems with the latest updates concerning refactor slug translation. Due to this, we’ve decided to roll back to the previous versions temporarily.

Therefore, you should continue to use ?TranslatePress-Multilingual 2.8.3?and TranslatePress-Business 1.4.1 / TranslatePress-Developer 1.4.1 versions until we address these problems with a new plugin update. Please, open a ticket on our website in order to send you the previous version of the pro plugin.

I understand the inconvenience this issue has caused, and we are sorry for the situation. At TranslatePress, we strive to make our products as reliable as possible, but it’s possible that some issues might go undiscovered before rolling out updates. We are learning from this incident and working hard to rectify the problem.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We hope you continue to place your trust in our product.

TranslatePress terrible, I got a notification from Google search console there were 550 pages on my site with no page exists 404’s … I have a website nobody can read in multiple languages. Costing time and money. Pro support is terrible also. They don’t answer for over 24 hours and then they clearly are aware of the situation and couldn’t even be bothered to answer my questions. Very bad.

Also…. the Google search console first registered the problem on 21st of August and today is 30th of August. There is no official mention of this from TranslatePress anywhere. Only customers have highlighted it on online. So NINE days of problems and not even a press release to say they are having problems. You might want to consider that when choosing a translate plugin.

Same issue + TranslatePress ask to update database. I tried on staging site and it is not working with business 1.4.1 needs business 1.4.2
