Automatic calculation of height is not working

I notice that whenever I specify a value for “width”, the video has very large bands of black space above and below it. According to your documentation, the height is supposed to be automatically calculated but that automatic calculation of the height isn’t working. Are you aware of this problem?
What I’m seeing is that the problem (in the css) is being caused by the value of ‘padding-top” for “xxxdimensions.vjs-fluid”. I can fix it by manually modifying this value (in “Developer tools”). Please advise.
