[Plugin: Simple Facebook Connect] Auto Login on Registration

Hi everyone,

I’ve modified SFC to redirect to my blogs homepage once the user has registered… however, when they are redirected to the homepage, it doesn’t appear that they are logged in… that is if I use the default sidebar in the TwentyTen theme, and I click the “Login” link, I’m taken directly to the profile page of the user account I just registered with. It seems to me that that link should say “Logout”, likewise, the connect widget, which I’ve also modified a bit to say “currently logged in as” with the user’s Facebook information should be showing, the “connect” button shouldn’t be there anymore.

I was thinking of maybe trying to use something like Peter’s Login Redirect to see if that would do anything… but I think I would rather understand why this is happening and be able to get it working properly.
