    Hello,

I connected the Site Kit to Google Analytics and everything goes right but the “Top Content over the last 28 days” shows no data and remains as this:

I review the console looking for errors and found this message:
    Google Site Kit API Error method:GET datapoint:report type:modules identifier:analytics-4 error:"The response is not a valid JSON response."(anonymous)@googlesitekit-api-.......

All the rest of the dashboard and graphics works great.

I already reset connections, review it with health check activated, deactivated all the plugins, reinstall software, etc. etc. and nothing fixes until now.

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Hi?@wmaas, thanks for getting in touch and for sharing the information you have. To help look into this further, please can you share the following:

    1. Your Site Health information. You can use this form?to share privately if preferred.?
    2. Can you confirm that you don’t encounter any issues setting up Site Kit from?this disposable WordPress site?
    3. Do you see any warnings or errors when checking your?Site Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.
    4. Do you encounter the same issue when you?use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin?

Let me know if you have any questions on the above information.

Hello @adamdunnage, thanks a lot for your help.

    1. Done, I share the information using the form.
    2. Ok, I installed the plugin using this disposable WordPress site and no issues to installe it but the error are still there.
    3. No, all the information remains the same.
    4. Yes, the issue is the same.

    Kind Regards.

@wmaas Thanks for sharing the information. Could I please ask you to try performing a Site Kit reset. Once reset, set up Site Kit once more and connect the required modules. After doing this do you face the same issue on the dashboard?

Please note that resetting Site Kit disconnects all users and removes all Site Kit settings, Dashboard Sharing settings and data within WordPress. After resetting, other administrators will need to go through the setup process again. Any users that have access to a view only dashboard will lose access to them.

@adamdunnage thanks again for your help, I made again the Site Kit reset but the trouble remains.

Actually I found and interesting situation: It works fine when “Last 90 days” is selected in Date Range. If any other date range is selected does not load the data.

    Any thoughts?

    Regards

@wmaas That’s interesting. Do you encounter the same with the “Last 28 days” data not loading if you try connecting a different Analytics property?

Could you also try going to this URL which will create a temporary WordPress test site for you. Please try setting up Site Kit on this site connecting the same Analytics property and see if you see the same behaviour.

Let me know how you get on with the two scenarios above.

Hello @adamdunnage. I am not sure if something happens in the weekend with Google Analytics data, a powerful wizard touched the APIs or something was updated in the Plugin, but today’s morning everything was working like a charm.

I’ll be monitoring during the week how its working and if something goes wrong I’ll drop a line. Maybe it was just a glitch.

    Kind Regards

    Hello @adamdunnage @jamesosborne

So far, so good. Everything is working nice and smooth. Actually we updated Site Kit to last version without issues.

Thanks a lot. I think this issue is solved.
