There is an issue when uploading assignment files.

This can be replicated on your demo site to rule out any issues within my own site.

    For Example: https://demo.themeum.com/tutor/courses/new-course-133/assignments/assignments-1-2/

The Issue can be recreated if you click choose file, select the file then open. The file then appears in the list. If the student then clicks choose file to upload further files. (Choose File select file then open) – The files are all listed there ready for the student to Submit the assignment.

The problem is that only the last file is ever uploaded to the assignment and subsequent file uploads are discarded on submit.

Please see attached video showing the problem.

Please advise on how to fix this issue.

    Hi @lazal2us ,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. You can upload multiple files in an assignment by following these steps:

    1. Click on “Choose File.”
    2. Select all the files you want to upload at once by either dragging your mouse to highlight them or using your keyboard controls (e.g., holding down the Ctrl or Shift key while selecting files).
    3. Once you’ve selected the files, click “Open” or “Okay.”
    4. Finally, click on “Submit Assignment.”

This method ensures that all the selected files are uploaded together. If you encounter any further issues, feel free to reach out for assistance.
    Thank You.

    Hi, Thanks for your reply.

However, A workaround was not the answer I was hoping for…

Currently, the functionality is broken and confusing to the user. If adding files “one by one” is broken. At least don’t suggest it is going to work by displaying each file in the preview. This is not logical.

Can this be fixed to work how it was intended to work?

    Kindest regards

    Colin
