I’m testing the plugin on a Woocommerce website and the default dropdown filter state shows [object object]. Any clue how to fix that?

Also, if I’m on a page where a filter is irrelevant and doesn’t affect the category it says “There are no filter terms yet”. Does PRO have an option to completely hide a filter instead of showing this?

    Hi @jinsley8 @worldchanger1

Update on the issue with dropdowns.

The WooCommerse released a new update where they returned the old select2 script that did not cause the issue. Please update WooCommerce to the latest version so everything will work well again.

    Best Regards,

@fesupportteam in Settings > Experimental if “Improved Dropdowns” is checked the issue persists.

    Hi @jinsley8

Have you updated your WooCommerce to the latest Version 9.2.2

It should fix it, as they removed the script in this version that was causing the issue.

Yes, everything is updated. If “Improved Dropdowns” is checked the dropdown default option shows [Object Object] still.

If I uncheck it, it shows the default dropdown palceholder “Select product type…”

Do you have a cache plugin, perhaps you need to clear them all. Or perhaps you have other plugins that can potentially cause this issue? As everyone else reported it is working as it should after it. And on our back, everything is okay as well.

    Best Regards – Victor
