    Hi, this topic is regarding cloudflare (again). I’ve read the description here. Currently webp is supported by 98% browsers. The problem with vary cache could be fixed if there was no fallback to webp? If so, such option in plugin would solve a lot of confusion.

    My 2nd question is if I remove jpg backups, would it work with cloudflare?

    Hi @mcdeth,

    Thank you for your message.

    What is described in this thread is still current. Our plugin supports not only the WebP format, but also the AVIF format. If you would like to use only the WebP format, you can upload WebP files directly to the Media Library. We nevertheless recommend converting WebP files to the AVIF format.

    We do not recommend deleting the original files. Our plugin does not modify or delete the original files.
