    Hi,

I have a discount code that gives a certain percentage discount for the initial payment for a subscription. Now I notice that it also sets the price to 0 when I have non-subscription items in the cart.?
I’ve used this discount for ages and saw it by coincidence today when I checked a customers saved cart.
Below you see the cart that I created and only the middle item shall be reduced in price which is correctly displayed in the total cart summary, but the top two yellow rings mark where it is applied by mistake.

I just tested the coupon on my staging site and it worked fine. Then I ran the Woocommerce update from today and now it is the same issue on the staging site!

This is how the discount code is set up:

Applicable for just the middle product in the first picture.

    Hi @motionskicken,

Just noticed by further testing that it is due to the Advanced Dynamic Pricing for WooCommerce plugin

Thank you for confirming you’ve already found the culprit! I’d suggest reaching out to their support here. You may also consider other alternatives for dynamic pricing here!

Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions for WooCommerce.

    All the best,
    Omar

I would like to come back to the ticket because you have not identified the right culprit at all! We have the exact same problem and we don’t use this plugin at all : Advanced Dynamic Pricing. We use for our promo code management: smart coupons. We proceeded by elimination and the culprit is WooCommerce on the latest updates > = 9.2.0 2024-08-20. We did a before/after update, all products in the basket went to 0 euros!! Even on customers’ personal promotional codes… Fortunately we realized this quickly! Can you take a closer look at the problem please?

    Hey, @toygether!

Per WordPress forum guidelines, would you mind opening up a new thread for this so that we can keep things organized and offer more personalized support for you? We’ll be happy to help you out with this over there!

    Have a wonderful day!

Why can this not be handled as part of this. Can you gather information better than having it in one issue? Also I would like to get the updates too.

    Hey, @motionskicken!

It’s part of the forum guidelines that each user should open their own thread.
This helps keeping things organized and the support more focused on the user’s issue as the cause might be different.

If you want to keep updated on @toygether’s issue, they can tag you on their thread, if they wish, or you can comment on their thread too.

    I hope this was clarifying.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Ok.
The issue already occurred in 9.20 which I noticed was released just the day before. I now rolled back to 9.14 which was the one available before and now in 9.14 everything works fine with coupons and also the site is faster again. Seemed quite a bit slower after the update.
