I have someone with a legitimate email that is being blocked. I ran his email against both lists in the plugin, and there are no matches. I can send the email address to you for review, as I would rather not post it publicly.

If the email is not in your blacklist then it ‘matches’ one of the other criteria, such as having too much periods (.) in it or one of the other rules you can enable.

Or, if the error/refusal you get is not the error (the text) you set in the settings it’s not being blocked by No-Bot Registration but something else.

It gives the message to the user from the plugin, “Your email is banned or misspelled. Please review it, use another email address, or contact support for a solution.”

I used ChatGPT to compare his email to the blacklists, and it also could not find a match. His email is: Tysonthompson***@gmail.com. (The *** are numbers)

    Looks fine to me.

Do other email address get through? If so, the plugin matches Tyson’s email against something based of your settings.

If everything gets blocked then something else is going on. Maybe your blocklist has a partial match that matches everything.

For example putting ‘.com’ on the list will block EVERY email address ending in .com, including Tyson’s email.

Yes, all get through. This one seems to be the only one with issues, as far as I can tell.

Then the plugin seems to work properly and this (and similar addresses) matches something in your settings.

Since you can’t find a good match or something obvious my guess it’s a partial match with the email blacklist. Something that only applies to a select few email addresses, like the one you have now.
