A video is not loaded. Black background

    Hello Frank,

    I have embedded several videos on the start page. They all work in the desktop version. I have duplicated a block, optimized it for mobile devices and then hidden it via the block settings for desktop devices. On the cell phone, the video is not displayed/loaded but only loads a black background (black/grey gradient).

    I had to hide the video or the block containing the video, which is not displayed on mobile, at the customer’s request. However, I can also display it briefly for your troubleshooting. But maybe you can also find the error this way?

    would that be the “get to know me” video fziller ? I added some display:block !important; and I do see a background image there all right?

    Yes, that is exactly what it is about

    I have shown it once… on mobile it is displayed in black

    how strange that I did see the background image after “unhiding” in my browser’s developer tools (in mobile view with a mobile useragent) .. afraid I don’t have an solution ready at this moment no, so some questions maybe;

    * do you see JS errors on the browser console when this happens?
    * do you see a request for the background image?
    * can you try what happens when enabling the “cache thumbnails locally” on?
