Issues with static home page and inner blog page

  • I am making a site in which I need to change the home page so that it is static with information and move the blog page to an inner page. But when using the “Reading Settings”, the graphics for the home page show up on the blog page and there are no graphics on the home page. How can we reprogram the home page to show the main template and not on the new blog page? (using Kreativ theme)

    This is my first site so…errr…how do you check/change the template? I saw under the “Quick Edit” there is a place to select a template but there’s just “Default Template” available to select.

    you will change “Reading Settings” option and also check your themes folder, there have these files: index.php, page.php, archive.php, 404.php, style.css etc.

    r u changed anything in page.php file?
