    Hi,

I am offering products using WooCommerce, and the problem ist that a few product variations are missing on the website, although there are in stock in inventory.
    I have tried the following:

    • revolve back to standard WooCommerce theme
    • deactivated all plugins
    • Cleared cache of permalinks
    • delete all product variations that are not “enabled”
    • changed the metabox data limit up to 100 based on this information.

My impression is that the number of options shown in the size drop-down is limited to 6 entries. When I added a size and reordered them in the backend (Products -> Variations), the new size appeared in the options menu on the frontend, but another size disappeared.

All sizes 34 to 42 should be available, but 35 and 42 are missing.

    Technical parameters:
    WooCommerce 9.1.2
    Blocky Child Theme
    All plugins updated.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hey there, @deadea9! Thanks for contacting us. I’m happy to help you.

My impression is that the number of options shown in the size drop-down is limited to 6 entries.?

By default, this is not the case. WooCommerce does not limit that.
To make sure I just tested on my website and added a attribute with 30 variations and it showed all of them.

Let’s investigate to find out what is going on.

Do you have any custom code on the website?
You mentioned you tried another theme, do you mind sharing which one you used to test?

Can you please share screenshots of how your variations are set up?
Do all variations have a price?

I recommend using https://snipboard.io. You can share the direct link to the image as a response to this topic.

Furthermore, I’d like to understand your site properly. Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.
You could copy and paste your reply here or paste it via https://gist.github.com/ and send the link here.

    Have a wonderful day!

    Hi!

    Thank you for your reply.

Yes, I use a little bit of custom code on the child theme I use. I commented it out, and the error still occurs. If I have “Blocksy Child” theme activated. Could theme adaptions of the parent theme cause issues, too?

The default theme I used to debug was Twenty Twenty-Four Version: 1.2.

Product Variations, which size 34 respectively 35 is not appearing on the webpage:

Yes, all have a price, a sales price, and a sales start and end date.

Here is the System Status Report:

Yes there are fatal errors in the errors log, but it seems to be about an unrelated compliance topic:

    Hi @deadea9

Sometimes, it could cause issues. However, it depends on how the parent theme works. The best way to determine this is to:

    • Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront or Twenty Twenty-Four
    • Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
    • Repeat the action that is causing the problem

If you do not see the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated. To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a conflict test here.

Additionally, the fatal error log you’ve shared, indicates an issue with the Mpdf library being unable to create the output file for your complianz plugin. This could be due to a few reasons such as incorrect file permissions, lack of disk space, or a problem with the directory path.

I hope that helps! Let me know once you have done a conflict test!

    Hi Shameem

Thank you for your reply and suggestions.
It is was I had tried before posting here: Reverting to a standard theme (Twenty Twenty Four) and deactivating all plugins, and the problem persists.

Do you have any other ideas?

    Hi @deadea9,

I’m able to see Size 34 color rose:

Direct link to the image: https://snipboard.io/hkzPLa.jpg

That does match what I see in your screenshot, only one color available for size 34, being Rose. For size 35 I see Nude and Black, also matching your screenshot. For 42, I see ones in Egg-White.

In your screenshot, I also see you have defined the default to?37?and Black. If you switch color to “Choose an option,” you’ll be able to see all the sizes. After picking a size, you’ll find the colors available to it. Alternatively, you can pick a color first, and then you’ll see the sizes available in said color.

My recommendation is to leave the defaults as no default, to avoid confusion! ?? Learn more here: https://woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/#setting-defaults.

    Cheers!

    Hi omarfpg,

Indeed that was the solution! Not all sizes were shown because there was a color preselected and in that color not all sizes are available.
Solved by having no default colors or sizes picked.

    Thanks a lot!
