• I like to delete or change the old image of the Worpress user profile. I think it hasn’t been added initially with Gravatar ( the account is rather old).

Now, in the “Edit Profile” page there is no delete button but the link to Gravatar. Consequently I have established a profile there but the profile picture in WordPress does not change. It’s still there. I have used the same email address. Is there something else to be done so that WordPress eliminates the old photo?

Why is there not just a simple delete functionality in WordPress?

www.remarpro.com uses Gravatar to manage avatars, the avatars are linked through Gravatar to the email address on your www.remarpro.com profile.

You’ll need to log in at https://gravatar.com to manage it.

If you run into trouble there, they offer support at https://support.gravatar.com

I think I am running into trouble within WordPress. The Gravatar account has been established with the same email address and seems to work nicely. However, there is no change on the WordPress-side. So, the old image is still there in WordPress.

Gravatar works by matching email addresses.

The email address you use here at www.remarpro.com needs to match either the email address of your Gravatar account or an email address added to it.

Gravatar email-address and WordPress login are the same. (While mine here is another one as this issue is about my wifes account)

Ok, what is the www.remarpro.com account you’re referring to?

Also, double-check the rating on your Gravatar. (X does not mean “decline,” it means “adult content”)
