Could not find metadata in the backup file

    Hello,

    I have a problem restoring my migrated wordpress site: when using wp-staging module, it says for the backup file: “Could not find metadata in the backup file [name of the file].wpstg.uploading – This file could be corrupt.“. I couldn’t find any solution on internet how to resolve the problem. Does anyone have an idea how to proceed?

    Could you please let us know more information about this backup file? I mean:

    • How did you create it? Using the Free or the Pro version of WP STAGING?
    • Do you remember the WP STAGING version that you used while creating this backup?

    We would appreciate it if you can send us your website’s system information from (WP STAGING > System Info) along with any more details about this issue via this form.
