Grouped products are slow

I created a group product with 10 products on my test website and was not able to replicate the issue. Let’s investigate to find out what is causing this on your website.

Have you created the grouped product with the default WooCommerce interface or do you use any other plugins that can modify the products?

tested on the default Storefront template)

When you tested with Storefront, did you also deactivated all plugins but WooCommerce (no other exceptions) to check if the issue persisted?

If you didn’t, can you please try doing it to check and let us know how it goes?

System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs. Then you can use the selector to search for Fatal Errors.

I disable all plugins.

Allow Woocommerce and Storefront only.

First page is page with grouped products = loading is 7 sec.

Second page is page with normal products – loading is 1,2 sec.

I activated Query Monitor, there are many queries.

On page with grouped products are 3008 queries

On page with normal product are 98 queries

I repeat that all plugins are disabled.

It seems to be a problem with update_meta_cache()

When I completely disabled it, the page with “grouped products” loads immediately, but the products have no image, price, etc…

The problem is also from this angle: if I, as an admin or any logged-in user, do not have pages in the cache, then loading pages with many grouped products is very slow.
