After upgrading the to the latest version, the site does not allow people to login, it will simply redirect back to login page. I was able to log in after disable Wordfence (by changing the wordfence folder name using file manager, as I cannot deactivate Wordfence under Plugins for some reason).

With the users who already logged in, they will not able to make any changes to the site. WordPress shows the link is expired error.

    Console log shows 403 error.

I suspect the latest update on nonce is at fault.

Rolling back to 7.1.7 solves the problem.

  • Not only login doesn’t work anymore after last update. Every Post request will not work. Updates not working, saving posts, users, everything is not working where a post request is made.

The added nonce check in latest version is not working at all and destroys all nonce checks on the hole page, so it doesnt work anywhere anymore.

It all also breaks my template gantry5, cannot save any settings, had to rollback to previous version

I have a multisite with Theme my Login as well. 7.1.8 also broke my site. Post request not working, getting an error when trying to update a post or post something new. Also went back to 7.1.7

Thanks for the heads up! Version 7.1.9 has been released to fix this regression. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I’ve tried to use the latest version 7.1.9. with Dynamic Visibility for Elementor 5.0.13
Everything immediately breaks. Pages won’t load (too many redirects). After deactivating Theme My Login, everything’s fine again.
I’m hoping that others experience the same, and it’s a known bug to fix.

    P.S.
After installing 7.1.7, the problem seems to have gone…

I removed the message; probably extension version issue.
