Cant access events list

I keep getting a time-out error when trying to access the list of events via wordpress dashboard. I can access all the other tabs – ie settings, add event, locations etc, but not the list of current events. I have deactivated all other plugins and tried a different theme. Webhost are saying its likely a plugin issue. Using the latest free version.
