What are the risk if I set up a not tested plug in?

    Hi,

    I want to start a podcast with Podbean but warns me that it’s not updated with the last 3 version. What are the risks if I set it up?

    usually it works, however you can encounter bugs or incompatibilities.

    if plugin is still supported by its author , you can report them in plugin support forum

    I’ll argue you don’t even need this plugin at all.

    All that this plugin does is convert the shortcode (which you have to manually craft, no UI to do this) to a PodBean player. It has no feature to manage your podcast in WordPress dashboard, or even to generate the shortcode.

    And I think it should be far easier to simply copy and paste PodBean’s iframe embed code.
