Hi, just to let you know that I had a problem with PostX plugin and their answer was:

After a thorough investigation, we found that the Block Visibility plugin is causing the Gutenberg editor to behave like a Full Site Editing (FSE) interface( some of the FSE functionalities added).

PostX handles the FSE editor and Gutenberg editor differently. If you deactivate the Block Visibility plugin, both editors should function properly in the case of CSS. Also, save those templates/pages again, the blocks will display properly.

For further assistance with this issue, please reach out to Block Visibility’s support team.

    Note:

    wp.data.select(‘core/edit-site’)
This functionality only should be accessible only in FSE site editor , not in Gutenberg editor. This information may help them find out the issue.

Thanks for your cooperation. Also, we will give compatibility with this plugin.

For me it’s Ok, I’ve disabled Block Visibility and indeed it solved the problem.

Thanks for reporting @lmsm76. Can you share what the issue was? Was PostX applying Site Editor CSS in the Post Editor when Block Visibility was enabled? Any additional info you can provide will help me diagnose the issue.

    Best,
    Nick

    Hi Nick,

In frontend it was appearing like this:

In the backend it was totally fine:

Block Visibility was Enabled but I was not using anywhere. I’ve just disabled “Block Visibility”, edit and save the changes and it worked fine.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi @lmsm76,

I have been attempting to replicate this issue and have struggled to do so. I did experience some strange issues with saving blocks provided by PostX, but it might be unrelated. There are a number of deprecation warnings in the plugin and a few errors related to fetching CSS.

Block Visibility is now using the unified extensibility APIs that were introduced in WordPress 6.6, with a fallback for later WordPress versions. Therefore, while Block Visibility might trigger an error in PostX (though I have been unable to replicate), I am fairly confident that Block Visibility is operating correctly in both the Post and Site Editor.

Therefore, I am going to close this out, but if anyone else experiences issues with PostX and Block Visibility, please let me know in the comments here and I will investigate further.

    Best,
    Nick
