- Yes, Cheap things end up being expensive.
- After spending HOURS creating featured images, optimizing titles and metas, and setting up internal linking for a ‘crosswords’ section on a website that receives over 25k daily visits, I come across the following issue:
Any text placed below the shortcode becomes part of the crossword, meaning it appears poorly formatted, unoptimized, and so on. I’ve tried everything, including placing different EMPTY blocks between the shortcode and the text, removing the H2 heading that goes below the crossword, and NOTHING works (and even if that had worked, how would removing a vital H2 heading help with SEO?).
I don’t care if this changes because I turned to AI, and using Java, HTML, and CSS, it provided me with a similar script that performs the ‘complicated’ task of ensuring that if I place article text below the crossword, this text does not merge with the crossword.
I’m not a fan of free things, but this was the only plugin I found that offered this feature. It wouldn’t have been too much to ask for it to cost 10, 15, 20, or 30 USD and save me this wasted time.
