Use Custom Taxonomy in Front End Event Form

I am using a custom taxonomy to add an ‘event_language’ taxonomy. (https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/tutorials/using-additional-custom-taxonomies/)

It is working in search and I can add event languages when editing events as an admin, however I need to allow users to submit events on the front-end and the new taxonomy is not displaying in the front-end editor.

Did I miss a setting or option for this somewhere?
