• The new update results in the error “There has been a critical error on this website”. Had to bring back the site with a backup and lost some work I did that day. Are these things even tested before they are uploaded? Because I’ve never had an update crash my entire site like this.

  • Hey… you don’t need to rewind with a backup in such cases. Just go into your files (ssh/ftp/hosting webinterface…) and rename the folder of the plugin. This will deactivate the plugin and your site is running again.. of course without Paypal in this case..
Nevertheless – wtf! This should not happen!

    Hello @jimmythumbtack

The recent update to WooPayments has caused a conflict with PayPal Payments resulting in the error you’re experiencing. In short, this means the problem was not related to us, so our plugin was not responsible for the situation. WooCommerce has released an update that fixes this issue. You can find more information about the update here and download the latest version here.

Please update your WooPayments plugin to the latest version to apply this fix.

I hope this clarifies a situation a bit.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
