• I didn’t want to install this after reading the reviews, but was forced to by WooCommerce. It worked fine for years until a few days ago. The latest update caused “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.” The entire site is now down.

The email sent me to a WordPress recovery mode, which reactivated the site, but payments were not working. I reactivated the plugin and problems came back, site is down. I went back to recovery mode, turned off recovery mode and I get “Recovery Mode not initialized.” with no way to get out of this. Woo provides no useful way to get out of this. except for boxed advice for simple issues, there is no support for issues caused by crappy coding. No human interface for something not easily boxed.

I’m completely disappointed. I have influence with several WooCommerce websites and will not be recommending WooCommerce in the future.

    Hello @bathrick

The recent update to WooPayments has caused a conflict with PayPal Payments resulting in the error you’re experiencing. In short, this means the problem was not related to us, so our plugin was not responsible for the situation. WooCommerce has released an update that fixes this issue. You can find more information about the update?here?and download the latest version?here.

Please update your WooPayments plugin to the latest version to apply this fix.

I hope this clarifies a situation a bit.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
