If you can access your backend files in your hosting, just change the name of the plugin to -old at the end of it and it will disable it, if you need a hand with it let me know

@kyami If you are having issues still, you can check your email as wordpress now has a new recovery mode that allows you to get back in and deactivate the plugin directly from the plugin section on the dashboard.

    Hey @woodybruh @kyami @corpconv & @titoz,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I’m so sorry for the trouble here.

Our developers are currently looking into things. We really appreciate the information shared so far. As soon as I have another update, I’ll share here.

Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.

    Thanks!

Got a bunch of sites completely failing now. I’m experimenting with solutions on the most important site with the error. Instead of disabling the plugin made a blank class-userfeedback-ai-survey-summary.php in userfeedback-lite/includes/admin/. This seems to have worked but I was prompted to complete the setup wizard when I went into setting. I think we might have lost all of plugin settings!

    Any confirmations yet?

    Hi @woodybruh @rawknowledge & @diwp,

Thanks for waiting while our team investigated this. We’ve released a patch, please update UserFeedback for the fix to apply.

    Thank you!

Going to update now. Do you have a recommended way to get out of the error other than what I posted? Should we expect all plugin setting/data to be intact or are we starting over?

    (@josklever)

I think the changelog should say a little more than just “bug fixes”, like “Fixed critical error because of missing file in version 1.1.0”.

And I hope future updates will be tested before release, because this was something that would have been found during testing.

    Hi @diwp,

We recommend updating UserFeedback to the latest version of 1.1.1 to clear the error.

Out of curiosity, in your earlier post, were you referring to seeing the “Welcome to UserFeedback” page? If you’ve already completed the setup wizard, you can proceed to click the Exit Setup button, located at the top right of the onboarding screen.

No data will be lost, unless UserFeedback was uninstalled, in which case the plugin settings will be cleared out (but created surveys and collected responses will remain intact).

I hope this helps, but let me know if there are further questions.

    Thank you.

And also, @josklever, thanks for your feedback.

I’ve let our developers know. We’re really sorry for the trouble caused here. Our team is working on implementing changes to avoid this in future releases.

    Thank you.

Coming back from vacation, I discover that my website is no longer responding. For how many days? How is it possible that the plugin update is so harmful? I think I’ll just uninstall it so that it never happens again: no more confidence.

I was hoping you would offer a troubleshooting solution to restart the website
