Is it possible that old pictures return to the library after clicking “bulk optimization” of the library. I manually deleted old images already twice now and I have no clue why they return. Only recently I had the same happen and it was after bulk optimizing in the Imagify dashboard.
Is this an option that this is caused by a bug. It also seems to happen when the bulk optimization is stuck.

Maybe useful info: I also use WPML. WPML is known to be the cause of most issues I have ever had on WordPress but I have no way to do without it. It could be linked to translated images.

    Hi,

    Thank you for reaching out.

Imagify will only optimize image files available in the media library and any custom folders if selected in Imagify settings. It does not restore or recreate deleted images.

If you have any kind of server cache, you may check with hosting support if purging that brings back the old images or ask them to investigate this. Additionally, since you mentioned WPML is known to cause most issues, it could be linked to translated images. You might want to check with WPML support to see if they are aware of this behavior.

    Best regards,
