Can we change this “Page” word to anything else (other language) or even better not use is at all (only the page number)?

    Thank you

    Hello!

The ‘Page’ word comes from WordPress itself. It translates automatically to the site language set at “WP Admin > Settings > General > Site Language.” I recommend setting that to the language you’re writing the site in. This will change the site’s HTML language attribute, which conveys your site’s language to search engines for language-targeted indexing. It also allows browsers to suggest automated translation options.

If you prefer to manage your website in English, you can change the “Language” setting at “Users > Profile” independently.

I do not recommend using only a number for pagination because that doesn’t convey pagination to users or Google.
