    Hi,

    I’m having a problem with breadcrumbs on one of the pages on my site. Unlike other pages where breadcrumbs work properly, breadcrumbs links on this particular page are not active. They only appear as non-clickable text.

    Here are the details of the problem:

    WordPress version: 6.5.5
    Yoast SEO version: Version 23.0

    Can you kindly update the Yoast SEO to 23.1 and then check if the issue exists?

    Thanks for sharing, @alexprs7. I see what you described, which doesn’t happen on a?similar page. Could you edit both pages and carefully compare what’s different in how they were created?

    Hi, Thank you for your feedback but there is no difference, the two have the same parent page, the only difference is the ranking order 1 for the link that does not work and 3 for the one that does. I don’t understand where the problem comes from, could you please help me resolve it?

    We active the latest update 23.2.

    Since you do not have an active Yoast SEO Premium subscription, please deactivate and uninstall it. Then, update to Yoast SEO Free v23.3

    the only difference is the ranking order 1 for the link that does not work and 3 for the one that does.

    I re-created a similar scenario locally, but the breadcrumbs link work as expected. Please try the following:

    1. Install & activate the?Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO data, click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.

    Please let us know if the reported issue remains after resetting the optimized data.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response. One of our external providers uses Yoast SEO Premium, but I do not have control over the premium version. I would like to follow the steps you mentioned. Could you please confirm that they will not impact the optimization work done by our provider using Yoast SEO Premium? I do not wish to alter their work.

    Kindly know that, resetting indexables will not reset/impact the data from Yoast SEO Premium.

    Hello,

    my problem is not resolved I encounter a problem in step 4: “Go to SEO > Tools, and under SEO Data, click on the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to reanalyze your content.”

    A failure appears during data optimization, I receive the following message “Oops, a problem occurred and we could not complete the optimization of your SEO data. Please restart the processing. If the problem persists , please contact support.

    Below are the technical details of this error. See this page for a detailed explanation.

    Error details
    Status code” No status code is displayed. I deactivated the WordPress debug and deactivated the web firewall but no result.

    Can you help me resolve the issue?

    When you see the SEO data optimization fails, can you kindly check the console area and see if any error is reported there? You can follow How to find JavaScript errors with your browser’s console?

    If yes, please provide us with screenshots that highlight the issue you are experiencing in the console.     As mentioned previously, deactivate and uninstall Yoast SEO Premium because your website doesn’t have an active Yoast SEO Premium subscription. Next, only have Yoast SEO Free v23.4 running. Then, retry the troubleshooting steps we provided.

    Please tag me if the breadcrumbs issue continues after successfully completing the SEO data optimization.

    Hello,

    My problem is not resolved, I cannot deactivate Yoast SEO premium because it is used by a member of our team.

    Could you give me a solution because this page does not work with breadcrumbs.

    In Yoast SEO > Tool > Start Data Optimization, I still encounter an error.

    However, I followed the previous steps.
