Get the nearest store(1list) based on user(IP, location,geolocation,etc)

    Is there a way to get the nearest store(just one store especially the store link) based on User’s IP, location, geo, etc via script, customization or filters? I am thinking to put that link to a certain button every time the user visit the site.

  • Hi!

    Well, the problem with this approach is that you need user consent to track their location, and not all users will give it to you, that is why we have to set up some defaults in the plugin settings page (default start point).

    But then, either with the default start point or with the users’s location, if you render the store locator with the [wpsl] shortcode, you will get a list of the X locations that are closest to the provided start point. That is not exactly your scenario, as we don’t have a way to have a button that links to just one store, sorry about that.
