First, I entered the desired meta description and title for the page into plugin Yoast SEO. But nothing has changed. That is, when I search for my site in the search engine, the desired title and meta description do not show me. I thought that the plugin was not working, so I went into the code and entered a crazy title and meta description. Nothing changed after that. I thought that the problem might be that the page was not indexed, so I later requested indexing. However, the target description and title have not changed after indexation. When I asked support about it, they said it might be a plugin/theme conflict. So what can I do in this situation?

  • Hi @dillana,

I think it should be on the SEO plugin you are using.

Anyway, have you tried switching the theme to a default WordPress theme and see if you face the same thing?

Apart from that, we should realize that besides taking time, it will be up to the Search Engines to index the sites and to show it in the SERP. As far as I know, we can ask a Search Engine, like Google to recrawl URLs, to speed up the index.

Let us know if you need more help, otherwise please mark the topic as Resolved.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
