Email notifications level

    Hi,

    I’m coming to you because there is something I don’t understand with email notifications based on severity level.

    In the Wordfence options I set this level to critical but from what I see I receive notifications regardless of the severity level.

    Just this morning for example I received an email with a medium level.

    Can you tell me how to correct this?

    Hi @winsa27, thanks for your question!

    I think this may be a case where a critical Wordfence alert is related to a medium-rated vulnerability. Vulnerabilities are given a rating out of 10 for how serious or easily exploitable they may be, which is different to the fact there is a plugin installed with a known vulnerability – which is always considered critical by Wordfence.

    If that assumption is incorrect, it could be worth clearing any caches to make sure the setting is properly reflected or sending an example of the mail to wftest @ wordfence . com with your forum username in the subject so we can find it. Just let us know here if you do send us one so we know to look for it.
