I installed Wp Optimize plugin and chose maximum compression to all of the files. Plugin worked and wrote me that all the pictures were succesfully compressed. But when I go to see the details, I see that the file was compressed from 289.08 kb to 289.08 kb. It means that it was not compressed at all. And I have a lot of files like this

But if I compress one by one, it’s working.

Seems like mass compression i snot working. How to fix it?

When you compressed the file individually, what size was it? Can you take screenshots?

    If I do individual compression

    Before compression:

    After compression:

Here it writes that the size is 294 КБ (so it was not changed)

But here it writes that file was compressed:

Which information should I believe – I don’t know because I just intalled plugin and started using it

According to your screenshot, the file was compressed from 194.48 KB to 119.51 KB, saving 59.42 percent, using WP-Optimize

Good. But it’s not the answer to my question which I asked in the beginning of the conversation.

How to make the mass compression and how to compress the files which system defines as compressed but they are not compressed.?

Please look my very first message

In the corner of the “uncompressed image tab ” can you click the button that says “view log” and then post the contents of the log using a tool such as patebin.com?

Where do you mean I can see the log? Here? Can you show me on the screenshot

Or do you mean the list of all uncompressed images? This image is not compressed but it’s not in the list. Becausу the plugin sees this picture as compressed. But it’s not compressed.

I found this report. Did you mean this? https://drive.google.com/file/d/10XB5LI-87uY07XPxAmPdMM-BCUkOIN4j/view?usp=sharing

Patebin.com seems like not working in the country where I am now

    Hi,

That was the one, thank you. I does look like some of your bulk optimisations have been optimised In The section in this screenshot shows some images that were in the bulk optimisation are significantly smaller but some of your images remain roughly the same size: https://snipboard.io/HB5t3O.jpg

I think this is due to the images that you have rather than an issue with bulk compression. An image with crowds, grass, trees, or complex designs will limit the JPEG compression algorithm and be stored as a larger file. Images with subjects that include simple backgrounds like sky or single colour backdrops are the sweet spot for JPEG compression and will generate much smaller files

Thank you very much for deep analiz. I understand now. Have a nice day)

Which folder original images to are stored? I compressed the pictures with WP-optimize plugin and deleted originals. But I have a backup copy of my website at my computer.

    Hello!

    1) Which folder original images to are stored? I compressed the pictures with WP-optimize plugin and deleted originals. But I have a backup copy of my website at my computer.

    2) I compress images with your plugin. If I deactivate plugin for some time, will the pictured that I compressed before be still compressed. Or they are compressed just when the plugin is activated
