You followed a broken link from the plugins page I presume? I need to fix that. Go to the Super Admin menu and you’ll see the Supercache menu item. Sorry.

    That worked. Thank you!

hi – has anyone noticed the digg proff thing not ending up in footer but run-over into the top of the right side-bar – check my website…any clues as to why that might happen..?

and, the above caused me a headache all day until i found this forum so great – what happened to wp-super cache listing under settings…will it return..?

    cheers

IanBlackPR – It’s something in your blog theme I’d say.

I presume you’re running in MS mode? The menu item in Settings won’t return as it’s a Super Admin menu now.

thanks man, you were spot on – maybe i should have looked a bit deeper…

i have another query – google passed this to me:
<!– WP Super Cache is installed but broken. The path to wp-cache-phase1.php in wp-content/advanced-cache.php must be fixed! –>

to be honest i haven’t a clue what they’re on about here other than checking through the code which is, well it’s code & gives nothing away to me (at least)..!

i’m not certain what you mean by MS mode – it’s my website so i am admin if that’s what you mean..?

i could deactivate and reinstall super-cache but if there is a simple solution i’d appreciate your advice…

all of the above is associated with getting google to index my website – however slowly they manage to do it – so ultimately i would like to try and achieve that in as short a time as possible…

i understand and have implemented the Apache side of things, installed the plugin as per well tested instructions and still google gives me grief – arrgghhh..!

if you do have some words of wisdom i’ll look forward to reading them because at the moment i’m stumped for answers (a bit like the australian cricket team)…

    cheers ian

Follow the instructions in the error message, the path to wp-cache-phase1.php is broken in wp-content/advanced-cache.php. Edit the file and you’ll see it.

MMh strange. In my case, the path in wp-content/advanced-cache.php is correct. I still get the “Cannot load wpsuperchache” error! No errors in the log, either. I can access the WP Super Cache panel without problems, it’s just when deleting the cache that this happens.

On one of my MS sites with little traffic I’ve turned debugging-to-email on to see if I can catch a few more errors that way. It’s definitely strange…

Gwyneth Llewelyn – your error is a different one. The link to the delete cache page is wrong, use the page in the Super Admin menu.
