For some reason files can be removed from file manager but still occupy storage on disc. I found a lot of removed files in upf-docs folder.
Im using free version. Using clean installation of WordPress.

    Hi,

When someone deletes a file, it goes to the Trash of that folder and the actual file is not deleted yet. That’s why you see the files in that directory. Please make sure to remove the files from the Trash as well.
As an admin, you can access other user’s trash from backend admin panel (but that’s only available in the pro version).

    Thanks.

Files are completely removed from Trash. But they still exist in upf-docs…

Please check the error log file for any related errors that may have been produced while deleting the files. Please check the permission of /uploads/ and /upf-docs/ directories.
I would also recommend checking for database entries for the same files.
Furthermore, please try to upload a new file via the plugin and deleting it and see if this same issue happens for that file or not.
