I have an issue and had to deactivate classic plugin to test. When reactivating your plugin the page I am having an issue with now opens in Gutenberg version of the classic editor instead of the true classic editor. How do I get the page back to the true classic editor.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thought I would mention the issue I am having as well. In my LifterLMS course plugin I am unable to save any changes in the editor. Some think it is a conflict with the classic editor styling and that was the reason I deactivated it.

Glad to help. In order to investigate I need to know the steps to repeat the issue on default WordPress. For example something like this:

    1. Install WP
    2. Install/activate Disable Gutenberg
    3. Perform some action
    4. Etc., until the issue occurs

That will enable me to repeat the issue and try to help asap, thank you.

I don’t know how to repeat the issue, as I don’t know what is causing it. I have recorded a video for Lifter LMS showing them the issue of not being able to save. But in it you can see my page is now stuck in the Gutenberg version of the classic plugin.

So for Classic plugin all I did was deactivate it then tested to see if the page will save which was then showing as Gutenberg, and then reactivated the plugin. After reactivation it is still looking like Gutenberg and not normal Classic editor. It is only happening on the page.

    Thanks for your prompt reply

I’m really not sure. Without the steps to repeat the issue, there is not much I can do. If the plugin is not working for you, best advice would be to remove it and maybe try another/similar plugin (such as Classic Editor for example).

It is the Classic Editor plugin I am using which will not return and is stuck in Gutenberg.

Ok this forum is for the plugin called Disable Gutenberg. You might want to try posting for help in the forum for the Classic Editor plugin. They will know best be able to provide support, answer any questions, etc.

If any questions about my plugin, Disable Gutenberg, please let me know. I am glad to help anytime.

Oh ok, I see your plugin doesn’t work either. Still remains in Gutenberg. Both Classic Editor and Disable Gutenberg.

    Thanks for your help.

Sorry it didn’t work out, hopefully one of the other disable-Gutenberg type plugins can meet the requirements.
