• Problem:

I previously set the product image width to 768px but later changed it to 600px. Even though the 768px size is no longer needed and is not used on product page, it continues to be regenerated. https://snipboard.io/igFTKP.jpg

    What I’ve done:

    1. Media settings: 150x150px, 300x300px, disabled the large size 0x0

    2. woocommerce product image width: 600 and 300

    3. deactivate the Seraphinite Accelerator and Product Gallery Slider plugins

    4. checked customized CSS and functions.php to make sure no related changes

    Question:

Are there any other settings I should check to ensure that only the required image sizes are regenerated? Cache is flushed.

  • Hi @wonderwooman,

Have you tried regenerating the images? You can also use a third-party plugin to regenerate images.

Also, do you see the same behavior when you do same thing with the default WooCommerce theme, Storefront?

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??

Yes, I did use Force Regenerate Thumbnails. You can see from the link above, which I marked with a red line, that the action has been completed.

This happens to all images that I tried to regenerate. Additionally, I inspected all the pages to ensure that the 768px image size is not being used anywhere.

    Hi @wonderwooman,

Do you see the same thing on the Storefront theme, as I asked previously?

Please let us know how you go.

    Kind regards,
    Herman ??
