    Hello!

I cleaned up thousands of old images on my site and disabled the Jetpack Site Accelerator cache, but the images still appear in Google searches, for example, and also if the direct link is used.

I would like to empty this image cache completely, to start over.

    Can you help me?

    Hi there, @rafael1338,

May I ask you when you did deactivate our Site Accelerator feature and deleted the images from your Media Gallery? It may take a little while for the system to delete the cache fully.

If you have concerns and still can see the images being cached by Jetpack after a week, and after you fully clear the site and browser cache, please reach out to us directly via contact form. Please quote this forum thread and link some example URLs of the images that you still see cached at your end.

    Thanks!

    Hello! How are you?

I did this about four days ago. So I’ll wait a little longer.

As a future feature, the system could have a button to delete a site’s image cache, speeding up the process.

    Hi @rafael1338,

I just noticed that your site is hosted on WordPress.com, and you have dedicated support access to inquire about problems. Could you please contact my WordPress.com dedicated colleagues via this form and quote this thread?

Apologies for not catching the WordPress.com nature of your site earlier!
