• Hello,

We have a price formula plug-in on our website that calculates the price of most of our products by size and weight etc. which then goes through to the woo commerce basket. Recently we have had an order paid through paypal which did not show any product name on the invoice and then yesterday we had the following error ‘Item amount mismatch. Items ditched’ and the customer said that the price changed when he selected the paypal option.

The products that use this price formula plug-in do have a set price on them in the background of woo commerce that is hidden so I believe this may be conflicting with paypal?

    Can you help with this?

    Thanks

    Hello @robh25

Thanks for reaching out to us, we’re here to help.

We recently received a similar inquiry on our private board about the Price Formula plugin. My colleague thoroughly tested the issue regarding product names not appearing on PayPal invoices, and everything was functioning correctly from our side.

As for the order notes ‘Item amount mismatch. Items ditched’, PayPal Payments may generate a note when items are removed from an order due to discrepancies. Please go to the “Connection” tab in your PayPal Payments plugin settings. There, look for the “Subtotal mismatch behavior” setting and change it to “Add another line item” instead of “Do not send line items to PayPal.

This adjustment should ensure that all item names, quantities, and other details are properly displayed in PayPal, even when purchasing larger quantities. An alternative solution would be to disable taxes within WooCommerce.

Please let us know if the issue continues after making these adjustments.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian

    Hi krystian,

Thanks for the quick reply. Here are my current settings:

The price changed for the customer when checking out and ended up being charged the woo commerce product prices which are hidden in the backend and not the price by formula prices although the delivery costs were correct.

    Thanks
