    Hi there,

    Before I start: apologies if this questions was already asked before, I tried using the search function but it will also show results for other plugins and I got lost in the woods. Feel free to point me in the right direction if I missed something already answered. Below my question:

    Is there a way to customize how the booking confirmation looks like? I want to make it smaller and hide some irrelavant fields for the confirmation page. Any option how to do that? So basically adjust the content of [content] shortcode.

    Hello.

    In actual versions of Booking Calendar is not possible to customize the structure or Confirmation Window. Such feature exist in our todo list and will be available in future updates.
    curently it is possible only to configure top message above the confirmation window. You can do this at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings General page in “Booking Confirmation” section.
    In paid versions of the Booking Calendar you can configure the [content] shortcode at the “Content of booking fields data” form on WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page. But such configuration also will apply how the booking data will be showing at the Booking Booking Listing page and in some other places.

    yes it is possible. At the Booking > Settings > Emails page use the shortcode with the same name, which you was configured at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page.
    For example if at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Booking Form page you Use the shortcode with name “firstname” then in the emails use [firstname] shortcode.

    Thanks, [name] dit work, great!

    I understand I have to wait for a future release: okay, glad you are working on it at least.
    In the meantime, is there a way to change the content of a shortcode? E.g. [dates] I would like to remove the time element and only leave the date(s).

    Hello.

    If you asking about the shortcode, that you use in the emails at the WP Booking Calendar > Settings > Emails page, then instead of the [dates] shortcode you can use these shortcodes:

    [check_in_only_date] – inserting check-in date (only date without time) (first day of reservation),

    [check_out_only_date] – inserting check-out date (only date without time) (last day of reservation).

    Hi,

    Yes I saw that, and tried that, but it will also show a checkout date if it is the same day. The [dates] element will only show 1 date if both checkin and checkout are the same ?? that is more clean.

    But I understand it is not possible, I will patiently wait for future releases.

    Hello.

    1. Currently in the Booking Calendar Free version, the shortcode similar to [only_dates] is not available. I will add improvements to this feature to the TODO list for having it in future updates of the plugin.
    2. In the Booking Calendar Business Medium or higher versions you can use this shortcode [selected_dates_hint] in the booking form and after that use such shortcode in the emails, to show only dates without the time slots.

    Unfortunately, it is not possible in the Booking Calendar versions. Sorry.

    Currently Booking Calendar supports only simple text captcha.

    Sorry, one more thing

    I have installed a WP-Optimize plugin to optimize my site speed and per Lighthouse and Pingdom advise choose to lazy load my javascript, only loading priority first and non-essential javascript later. When enabling this option, I do get the error that the form is double on the page and the form won’t show. Is that a issue you are familiar with and a way to prevent it? It would be nice to be able to optimize my site a bit without losing functionality.

    Sorry I meant JetPack Boost, instead of WP-Optimizer, this is the particular setting

    Hello.
    At your screenshot I can see that defer option is disabled. It should work.
    Can you send screenshot of the settings that generate the issue?

    And send the link to your page with booking form, where you are having the issue.

    If I enable that setting, the booking form won’t show anymore….

    I want to toggle the switch, but I want to avoid losing functionality for an extended period of time, can we agree on a time ?

    Hello.

    You need to clear all minimized JavaScript files and clear cache settings. After that try to enable that settings and test it.

    If you still will have issue please send the link to the page with booking form, while you will enable that option and calendar is not visible, so I can test it.
