[…] is not hyperlink, title is hyperlink but not …

When I post a blog up the main screen shows the “teaser” followed by […] indicating there is more content. I think 99% of people will attempt to click that to get more but it is not a hyperlink, how can I change that? The title of the post is actually the hyperlink but its not as obvious to some users. I am using the Clean Type 1.0 theme, if that matters.
I found one thread that contained a dead link and some info about it being due to accessibility issues, but couldn’t find any other fix.
