I’m a big fan of Robo Gallery and I’m using it to showcase my photography portfolio.  I’d like to customize the appearance of the thumbnails on hover.  Currently, the default effect is a simple opacity change.

Ideally, I’d like to achieve the following: On hover, I’d like a slight zoom effect on the thumbnail image. Additionally, I’d like to display a small caption text overlay with the image title on the bottom of the thumbnail.

Is it possible to achieve this customization with Robo Gallery, or would I need to use additional code?

    Thanks in advance!

Thank you for your kind words about Robo Gallery! We’re thrilled to hear that you’re using it to showcase your photography portfolio.

To achieve the customization you’re looking for—adding a slight zoom effect on hover and displaying a small caption overlay with the image title—you can follow these steps:

    1. Go to the gallery settings and navigate to the hover effects section. You can choose from a variety of hover effects available in the current version. Some of these effects already include a zoom effect.

    2. In the hover settings section, enable the Hover Template option. This will allow you to customize the layout of the hover overlay elements, including adding captions.

We’re also excited to let you know that in the near future, we will be releasing a new version of Robo Gallery with many more hover effects, including enhanced customization options.

If you need further assistance or have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re here to help you create the perfect gallery for your portfolio.
