Sozial Icons and links could not be changed

You should be able to edit the Social Icons settings by clicking the Cog icon in the widget menu as shown on this screenshot: https://d.pr/i/PolkOD

You can edit the links or even set up custom social icons (with custom images and links).

Hi, I have totally the same problem (https://tortaescukorvirag.hu/), the Social media icons are not editable any more, the Cog icon activate only the alignment setup possibility, the link setup is not available.

If you can’t do the same I’d recommend the following:

• make sure everything on your website is updated (WordPress, MailPoet, Theme and other plugins)
• If the issue persists, do a conflict test.

Sorry, but it did not work. When i press the cog Icon i do not see such a menu you described in your post above. This is what i see, after pressing the button

Can you please send us a copy of you System Info found in MailPoet > Help? Make sure to remove any sensitive information such as email addresses before sending it.

Also, @webreneszansz can you send a screenshot of what you see when you click the Cog icon in the Social Media widget?

Same as @guicmazeredo, I’ve been unable to reproduce the issue you are reporting. On a base install with the latest version of MailPoet, I’m seeing all the options to edit the Social Media icon block after selecting it in the editor:

If you check the browser console while in the Email editor, do you see any errors reported there?

Please try testing with only MailPoet active and a default theme such as Twenty Twenty Four, and check to see if you still see the same issue. In order to avoid affecting your live site and visitors, you can set up a staging site to do the testing. If you don’t have one already, your hosting company might offer one as part of your package. Alternatively, you can use a free plugin like?WP Staging?for quickly creating a new test site.

Have you tried re-installing the MailPoet plugin by following this guide: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/258-re-installing-updating-the-plugin-via-ftp

Based on error you shared I can see that it’s related to a JavaScript error directly affecting the email editor.

Try re-installing the plugin to see if that fixes the issue.
