How to verify two-factor authentication is working?

    Hi all, I installed Jetpack and followed the instructions in the link to set up two-factor authentication. Everything went well, and I have backup codes after finishing up the process. My question is how do I verify that two-factor authentication is working as advertised?

    My setup in Jetpack is listed below. However, when I log out and back in to WordPress, I am not being forced to use two-factor authentication.

    • Enabled – Allow users to log in to this site using WordPress.com accounts
    • Disabled – Match accounts using email addresses
    • Enabled – Require accounts to use WordPress.com Two-Step Authentication

    I want to be clear that I’m referring to using two-factor authentication for my www.remarpro.com account in the above post.

    I see you linked the Two-Step Authentication page that refers to your WordPress.com/Jetpack account, while you later mentioned that you need that setup for your www.remarpro.com account. In that case, you may want to check this page instead.
