error in frontend upload

    Hello Jacob
    When i tried tu upload a picture throught the frontend like” [wppa type=”upload” album=”27999″]”
    I get a server error

    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading ‘html’)
    at Object.complete (wppa-all.js?ver=240622-162910:4:20345)
    at options.complete (jquery.form.js?ver=4.3.0:302:17)
    at fire (jquery.js?ver=3.7.1:3223:31)
    at Object.fireWith (jquery.js?ver=3.7.1:3353:7)
    at done (jquery.js?ver=3.7.1:9642:21)
    at XMLHttpRequest. (jquery.js?ver=3.7.1:9888:9)

    Try a different setting in Photo Albums -> Settings -> Advanced settings -> System -> I -> Item 5: Frontend Ajax method

    I tried tu build a wordpress site with only twenty twenty theme and wppa+ (with defaut settings and frontend upload activate)
    The server error is still here , with differents settings also
    but with defaults settings server error message is here and when i refresh the page the picture appear uploaded
    Its seems like a bad callback ajax response

    message in the console is still :

    wppa-all.js?ver=240624-101426:4

    Can you delete wppa-all.js by ftp and retry? Instead of wppa-all.js the separate files will be loaded (uncompressed) so the errormessage has more meaning

    Hi,

    I tried 8.8.01.002. zip problèm is the same the photo is uploaded but an error server appear
    I suppressed ?wppa-all.js?tu eventually see the error .
    On the console the message is :
    message: Error = SyntaxError: Unexpected non-whitespace character after JSON at position 44 (line 1 column 45), status = parsererror wppa-utils.js?ver=240626-133838:207


    I also tried to run the website in english and nothing change.

    i will continue investigate next days

    Thanx for the info.

    You have set Advanced settings -> Admin -> II -> Item 16: Fe alert Show alertbox on front-end.

    This settings is currently not supported, set it to — none —

    I will fix it in the next version
